Monederos digitales e inclusión financiera en poblaciones marginadas
Resumen
El objetivo del presente estudio fue examinar los factores asociados a la adopción de monederos digitales y su relación con la transformación de prácticas financieras en poblaciones marginadas del Perú. Pese a la expansión de las fintech en mercados emergentes, la evidencia empírica sobre su funcionamiento en zonas urbanas vulnerables de América Latina resulta aún limitada. Este estudio correlacional-predictivo examinó los factores asociados a la adopción de monederos digitales y su relación con la transformación de prácticas financieras en poblaciones marginadas peruanas. Mediante un diseño cuantitativo, no experimental y transversal, se encuestó a 384 residentes de asentamientos humanos de Piura con un instrumento validado por juicio de expertos y análisis factorial exploratorio. Los resultados indican que más de la mitad de los participantes alcanza un nivel elevado de inclusión financiera digital, con asociaciones significativas según género, edad y distrito de residencia. El análisis multivariado identificó el grupo etario, el monto transado y la percepción de seguridad como principales predictores. El principal aporte conceptual radica en demostrar que, en contextos de marginalidad urbana latinoamericana, la adopción fintech sigue patrones diferenciados que pueden interpretarse desde la articulación de la teoría unificada de aceptación y uso de tecnología y la teoría del comportamiento planificado, extendiendo el alcance de estos marcos a un dominio geográfico y poblacional subrepresentado en la literatura.
