El género de la gerencia y la cultura organizacional de la pyme en la región de Murcia-España

Abstract

El propósito de esta investigación es analizar cómo incide el género de la gerencia sobre el desarrollo de la cultura organizacional de la pequeña y mediana empresa. Para el logro de este objetivo se utiliza un enfoque cuantitativo donde se aplica muestra compuesta por 600 pymes de la región de Murcia – España, la información se recolecta a partir de un cuestionario auto- administrado dirigido al gerente y el análisis contrasta si la variable género de la gerencia influye significativamente sobre la cultura organizacional, una vez incorporadas variables de control, a partir de regresiones lineales multivariantes. Los resultados muestran que las empresas dirigidas por mujeres motivan en mayor medida el desarrollo de culturas organizacionales con valores como la cohesión, la participación, el sentido de pertenencia, y el trabajo en equipo, mientras que las empresas dirigidas por hombres impulsan en mayor medida los valores como la competitividad, productividad, posición externa y control. Dentro de esta investigación se puede concluir que los valores de las mujeres y hombres deben ser tenidos en cuenta en los procesos organizacionales por ser diferentes y complementarios y aportar de diferentes formas a la organización
