Capacidad de innovación de producto y desempeño innovador: efectos moderadores de síndromes organizacionales
Abstract
El impacto positivo de las capacidades de innovación sobre el desempeño innovador se ha demostrado ampliamente en la literatura, así como la influencia negativa de los síndromes “No inventado aquí” y “No Compartido Aquí”, sin embargo, es notoria la ausencia de trabajos orientados a establecer el efecto combinado de estos constructos antagónicos sobre el desempeño innovador. Por ello, el objetivo del artículo es establecer el efecto moderador de los síndromes sobre la relación entre las capacidades de innovación de producto y el desempeño innovador. En cuanto a la metodología, se utilizaron ecuaciones estructurales por el método de mínimos cuadrados parciales para corroborar la existencia de la moderación a partir de los datos obtenidos en una muestra de 77 empresas manufactureras. En relación con los resultados, únicamente el síndrome no inventado aquí modera negativamente la influencia positiva de las capacidades innovadoras de producto sobre el desempeño innovador. En conclusión, este hallazgo supone la necesidad de complementar las actividades tecnológicas asociadas al desarrollo de productos, con prácticas de gestión de talento humano que reduzcan la resistencia de las personas a utilizar el conocimiento y los recursos que ofrece el entorno.References
