Corporate Entrepreneurship e innovación: un enlace de dos vías
Resumen
En el contexto actual las empresas deben desarrollar estrategias para promover su competitividad y adaptarse a los nuevos desarrollos tecnológicos y al entorno empresarial. Por lo que el desarrollo de capacidades para cambiar, mejorar y crear nuevo valor es cada vez más importante. Particularmente capacidades para emprender e innovar. La posición tomada en este documento es que hay una característica común entre todas las empresas que podría describirse razonablemente como empresarial, esta característica común es la presencia de la innovación. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es determinar un vínculo bidireccional entre el emprendimiento corporativo y la innovación y así identificar como ambos aspectos pueden conducir el uno hacia el otro y favorecer la generación de ventajas competitivas en las empresas. Este trabajo se llevó a cabo desde un enfoque ecléctico, donde la metodología utilizada para alcanzar este objetivo fue una revisión sistemática de la literatura. Finalmente, las contribuciones del trabajo fueron: (I) un análisis cronológico de la evolución del concepto de emprendimiento corporativo; (II) un diagrama analítico del emprendimiento corporativo y sus determinantes, el cual posee un componente pragmático para las empresas, que constituye un punto de referencia para incorporar esta estrategia en la gestión empresarial; (III) identificación de condiciones para vincular el emprendimiento corporativo y la gestión de la innovación como procesos directamente correlacionados y (IV) reflexión sobre el desarrollo estratégico de ventajas competitivas en la empresa a partir de la innovación y emprendimiento.Citas
