Estilos de liderazgo de la alta dirección en industrias exportadoras de Barranquilla

Resumen


El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar los estilos de liderazgo de la alta dirección en las industrias exportadoras de Barranquilla. Para ello, se estudiaron empresas pertenecientes al sector de sustancias y productos químicos. Se empleó el enfoque epistemológico empírico-inductivo, con un diseño de investigación no experimental de corte transaccional correlacional, aplicando un instrumento que obtuvo un Alfa de Cronbach de 0,822. Los resultados muestran que, el liderazgo transformacional es el que mayormente se aplica, seguido del transaccional y en último grado de aplicación se encuentra el liderazgo laissez-faire, sobre el cual diversas teorías señalan que aspectos se deben considerar para obtener el mayor provecho de su empleabilidad. A modo de conclusión, sobresale que al articular el liderazgo transformacional y transaccional se promueve la generación de ventajas competitivas por los colaboradores. Finalmente, se recomienda desarrollar investigaciones que vinculen a por lo menos tres niveles jerárquicos; alto, intermedio e inferior, en búsqueda de un análisis de rango amplio que permita observar similitudes o discrepancias entre los estilos que se evidencian por cada nivel.
