Investigación en bioética: Análisis cienciométrico

Resumen
En el marco de las necesidades de integrar la bioética a las organizaciones, se realiza un análisis cienciométrico, con el objetivo de describir los indicadores bibliométricos del desarrollo científico de este campo, desde los primeros registros de la base de datos en línea Web of Science correspondiente al año 1975, hasta el año 2022, identificando autores, países, publicaciones, citaciones, revistas e instituciones, en una investigación concluyente descriptiva. Los resultados permitieron evidenciar un desarrollo lineal creciente de las publicaciones relacionados con los ámbitos de la gobernanza, la ética, la investigación científica, las variables culturales relacionadas con la bioética, la relación entre médico y paciente, el consentimiento informado y las prácticas clínicas. La principal contribución de esta investigación es sintetizar el conocimiento y ofrecer una discusión actualizada sobre la investigación en bioética.
