Plagiarism detection policies
To determine duplicate content in the articles submitted for our consideration, we use three different tools: www.plag.es, www.duplichecker.com/es and www.turnitin.com/es
At first, the article is submitted to verification with www.plag.es, if the report reports a high or very high risk of plagiarism, a detailed review is carried out in blocks of a thousand words using the Dupli checker. If after these procedures there are still reasonable doubts about the partial presence of plagiarism in the article, it is also submitted to turnitin, which is a paid software.
The plagiarism control procedure of Political Questions includes the following stages:
- In the instructions to the authors, the requirement of originality of the works presented is manifest.
- At the same time, the presentation of unpublished works is an exclusive requirement for acceptance of originals.
- Authors are also required to explicitly mention the sources in all citations, in accordance with the rules of the journal.
- Once received, the works go through the control of the anti-plagiarism software in three phases with the software 1) plag.es, 2) Dupli checker and 3) Turnitin.
- In case of detecting any trace of plagiarism or self-plagiarism, the articles will be rejected and the author will be notified.
