About the Journal
Journal Mission
The journal Cuestiones Politica has as its fundamental mission to be, at all times, a high-impact international publication capable of disseminating, with open access, scientific knowledge with political, legal and humanistic utility in order to contribute to the development of current trends that determine the course of research in law, political science and the social sciences; as well as to solve the problems and challenges that make up the current world order.
Focus and Scope of the Investigation
Cuestiones Políticas, is a journal sponsored by the Political Studies and Public Law Institute "Dr Humberto J. La Roche (IEDPD) from the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences. The Magazine is published twice a year and its content focuses on research in political studies and public law subject to political arbitration reviews.
- Objectives:
- Contribute to the scientific project of human and social sciences disclosure of the results advised by its research.
- Stimulate research in all political and public law disciplines.
- Encourage presentation, discussion and contest of ideas and scientific advances with social commitment.
Periodicity
Political Questions appears twice a year and publishes original works with advances or research results in the areas of Political Science and Public Law, which are submitted to the consideration of qualified arbitrators.
Thematic coverage:
In principle, the magazine publishes works in the areas of Political Science and Public Law, but by extension it also publishes works on criminology or social sciences in general that have the field of politics or politics as their subject.
The target audience:
All researchers and academics at the international level who are directly or indirectly engaged in the study of these issues. It is an open access journal that can be consulted by anyone.
Plagiarism detection
To determine duplicate content in articles submitted to our consideration we use three different tools: Turnitin, Dupli checker and Plag. it is
At first the article is submitted to Plag.es, if the report reports a high or very high risk of plagiarism, a detailed review is made in blocks of a thousand words using the Dupli checker. If after these procedures there are still reasonable doubts about the partial presence of plagiarism in the article, it is also submitted to turnitin, which is a paid software.
Interoperability protocols Political Questions incorporates interoperability protocols that allow the journal to be collected by other content distribution systems. It supports this process through the OAI-PMH protocol (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) https://www.produccioncientificaluz.org/index.php/cuestiones/oai that allows the transfer of digital resources of a scientific nature and free access.
Digital file preservation policy
Political Issues deposits its volumes and issues in Zenodo https://zenodo.org/, an open, simple and innovative digital repository that allows researchers, scientists, projects and institutions to share, preserve, deposit and display multidisciplinary research results.
Editing formats The files published by Political Questions are available in formats that are easily reproducible and readable by any device in formats (PDF and HTML).
Open access policy
This journal provides open access to its content, based on the principle that offering the public free access to research helps a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Cost per processing
Cuestiones Políticas, is financed with public resources and adheres to the philosophy of open access; therefore, its content has no commercial purposes, which is guaranteed at all times by its editor and by its editorial committee.
