ABSTRACT

Local tourism constitutes a complex phenomenon that presents elements, actors, and connections that intertwine each other. The systems analysis integrates theories, models, methods, and methodologies to study social systems according to a holistic perspective. In this work, a dynamic conceptual model is proposed and illustrated in the case study of a magic town in Hidalgo, Mexico. The results show the context, the loop relationships, and the conceptual definitions of the system. We conclude that the combination of a dynamic conceptual model is convenient to mechanize the visual context and to concept the system.
