Nuevo paradigma de la gestión del conocimiento en la Educación Superior de Ecuador
Resumen
En la actualidad, se evidencia la importancia creciente de la gestión del conocimiento en organizaciones e instituciones educativas, dada la rapidez de las transformaciones en la sociedad, el mercado y la tecnología. Frente a la exigencia de innovar y mejoras en los empleados, dicha gestión emerge como una competencia clave. El objetivo del trabajo es examinar los fundamentos teóricos de la gestión del conocimiento y explorar la creación de un sistema de gestión del conocimiento en instituciones de educación superior de Ecuador. Para ello, se utilizó una metodología cualitativa y exploratoria, sobre la base de una revisión bibliográfica y análisis de tendencias actuales. Los hallazgos subrayan el papel de la gestión del conocimiento en la competitividad organizacional y su relevancia en el ámbito académico. Las instituciones de educación superior necesitan transformarse en centros de innovación, fomentando el aprendizaje continuo y desempeñando una función esencial en la formación de profesionales adaptados a las demandas económicas y sociales. Se concluye que la gestión del conocimiento es fundamental en el ámbito académico, representando una tendencia en alza para potenciar la competitividad. Sin embargo, este enfoque implica un cambio de paradigma hacia la incorporación activa de la gestión del conocimiento en estas instituciones.
