ESTRATEGIAS PROCEDIMENTALES PARA EL DESARROLLO DE COMPETENCIAS PROFESIONALES Y ACTIVIDAD PROYECTUAL DEL DISEÑO
Abstract
Procedural strategies are those that allow the execution of the didactic planning processes necessary for the operationalization of the academic periods at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of La Universidad del Zulia. These are adjusted to the changing and dynamic reality of the environment and the complexity of COVID-19 contingency characterized by reduced labor mobility, a marked lack of resources and difficulties in accessing events and workshops to improve training teacher, as a result of the country situation in an institution with a face-toface regime, without leaving aside the aspect of the quality of design education. For the training of future professionals in Graphic Design and Architecture it is necessary constant support and adequate supervision through digital platforms to monitor the training process, without losing sight of the working environment needs, in order to ensure the updating and proper use of
resources, teaching materials and content that allow responding to the aims of the development of the academy in these areas. A qualitative and experiential introspective epistemological approach was applied as for methodology, which allows a careful study of the development of the processes in the academic environment of this university, in an organized, progressive and dynamic way. Results of this research showed that procedural strategies contribute to the
development of professional competencies for the production of project activities of graphic design and architecture, demonstrating that it is possible
to approach and develop teaching and learning processes through a mixed regime that attempt to complement the deficiencies of the face-toface system, from an improvement perspective of educational processes and teacher training.
