Impact of COVID-19 on the development of communicative competence in adolescents
Abstract
This article is the result of a methodological strategy designed from a quantitative approach under the descriptive study type. Two instruments were designed and applied under the survey technique, which consisted of two questionnaires: one for teachers, and another for students, of which the two questionnaires consist of 20 items. It was found that several factors influenced the lack of interest in language learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is critical that Spanish teachers provide the opportunity for students to achieve proficiency in the Spanish language.
