War Strategies in Democratic Contexts: Peace of Women
Abstract
This article interprets and analyses the causes, dynamics and effects that underlie expressions of gender-based violence and that lead to the construction of aggressive societies, preventing women's peace and security even in the absence of armed conflict. The research explores the epistemic perspective of the phenomenon in its multiple expressions, deepening the importance of the discourse in its configuration. It also formulates proposals and reflections to transform models that prevent half of the population from developing freely and without fear.
