Abstract

The purpose of the article is to present a descriptive analysis of innovative educational environments based on the theoretical postulates of Monasterio (2009), Lopez et al. (2002), among others. The research was classified as descriptive, with documentary design. In learning environments or environments, there are interactions between students, teachers and other parts of the active learning system, considering the pedagogical activity and the knowledge achieved by the participants in physical and/or virtual spaces, since its purpose is to create conditions that allow the development of certain skills or abilities such as problem solving, creativity, teamwork, curiosity, innovation, ability to continue learning; an environment capable of evolving and adapting as educational practices change, always with an eye to the future.
