Female sexual behavior from the optics of neurobiology
Abstract
Neurobiology is a science that is responsible for studying the cells of the nervous
system, the anatomy and physiology of the brain. The purpose of the article is to analyze the
contribution of neurobiology in women's sexual behavior and its relationship with emotions. It
was based on the postulates of Dávila (2010), Caccia (2012), The methodology used was the
documentary research Arias (2012). Among the final considerations, it is evident that emotions
activate and direct human behavior, based on the subjective reactions perceived from the
environment and are accompanied by the responses that are promoted through the brain
connections that will be revealed as pleasant or unpleasant, which They must be adapted to the
moment of thinking and acting so that during the sexual coupling, the woman achieves a process
of satisfaction in its maximum expression. Positive emotions favor sexual function in women.
