Virtual learning environments, with emphasis on teaching and pedagogy
Abstract
The dynamics of evolution of computer science, telecommunications, such as Virtual
Learning Environments (EVA), make every day more people in the world can finish their studies,
regardless of distance or economic condition. This research aims to establish some quality
indicators that EVAs must have, so that there is a correct teaching-learning process in the
universities of Ecuador. The methodological and epistemological assumptions were framed in the
qualitative paradigm, because it addressed issues of process, experience over time, the method of
grounded theory was used, through interviews, participant observation, memories, diaries, which
They helped us to carry out an extensive review of academic and scientific documents that
allowed the approach of the subject and the analysis of the contents, where it was concluded that
the EVA must be developed according to the reality of each university, the processes must have
incorporated both didactic as pedagogical, and teachers must be trained to strengthen the
teaching-learning process.
