Abstract
This work reflects on the importance, the influence and the historical of the life of General Francisco de Miranda. A hero of great importance and legacy for the independence movements in Latin-América and the world of histime, participating in main events which defined the course of occidental human history. The refore, a historiographical approach was applied for thisstudy, crating a reading circle as a method of analysis, discussion and critics of some classic texts. It is also worth highlighting that this work does notmake a formal conclusion but presents a final resolution on the idea of promoting an expanding the interest on his life and the circumstance that sur-rounded the Miranda Latin-América, the Miranda illustrated and thedreamer of freedom. Miranda was a man more than anything, which does nottake to take any doubt about his greatness and virtues. A man who loved somany things but lost so many other, a man who in some point of his life wasun loved by his fellow citizen and even so he could manage all the conditions,characters and most exceptional situations of his time, also known for havingalways the best advice and friendships.
