La asignatura de trabajo social comunitario en las universidades españolas

Resumen

Este artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación que analiza la organización, competencias, contenidos teóricos y metodológicos de la formación en Trabajo Social con comunidades en los grados de Trabajo Social de las universidades españolas. Para su análisis, en primer lugar, se identificaron las universidades que ofrecen el grado de Trabajo Social (N=39), posteriormente, se analizaron todas las asignaturas vinculadas con el Trabajo Social con comunidades en estos programas de estudios utilizando las guías docentes de las asignaturas implicadas (N=44). A continuación se identificaron todas las competencias específicas identificadas en dichas guías (N=352) y del análisis de contenido de las guías docentes ha permitido identificar, a modo de tipologías/categorías, 24 competencias específicas y 10 contenidos/ejes temáticos de las asignaturas de Trabajo Social con comunidades. A partir del análisis de contenido mencionado se constata que la formación en Trabajo Social con comunidades es esencial en todos los grados de Trabajo social, su contenido teórico y metodológico se encuentra estrechamente relacionado con el sistema de competencias y habilidades profesionales que se requieren en los contestos actuales. Por último, los resultados permiten evidenciar la importante contribución del Trabajo Social con comunidades en la construcción teórica del Trabajo Social y del propio quehacer profesional en el contexto actual de alta complejidad y superdiversidad cultural en comunidades urbanas y rurales.
