The Economic Model of the New Indigenous State in the Amazon: Challenges and Problems
Abstract
The present investigation aims to make a frist approximation to the proposal to stables a new model of indigenous state in the Amazon, which basad on the principles expressed vy the national contitution, seeks to be a historical claim of the ethnic groups of the región to free exercise of their cultural
practices as and expression of a multi-ethnic and floricultural society. Specific ally, we study the economic model present in the new constitution of the indigenous state of Amazon, which recognizes the different forms of production of ethnic groups in the región based on solidarity and reciprocity.
Through the use of the historical meth and the use of oral history, the contribution of some testimonies was taken in order to understand the di proposal of di constitution of a new steate differentiated forn the classic liberal National Stat. It is conclude that the proposal turns out tot bi very novel, and based the new economic model on a humanistic- ecological vision taking into account the different forms of indigenous production, but which has many obstacles to overcome, such as the application of an economic system promoted from the Central state in Alliance with the transnational companies the produce a high environmental impact, this is exemplified above all in the mining arch of the Orinoco that does not take intone account the ethnic groups that inhabit the surroundings of those territories.
