Prevalencia de estreptococo beta hemolítico del grupo ha, en una población de educación media aparentemente sana del distrito Maracaibo
Abstract
Se presentan los resultados obtenidos al estudiar los hisopados faríngeos de 100 estudiantes de educación media, aparentemente sanos. Los hisopados fueron sembrados en agar sangre de carnero con cristal violeta y a todas las cepas con crecimiento compatible con el germen estudiado, les fue practicada la prueba presuntiva del taxo A de Bacitracina y la prueba de Hidrólisis de Hipurato. En el grupo estudiado se encontró un 4% de prevalencia de portadores sanos de dicho germen.
