Abstract

The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic generated a sudden flight to the home, providing the only alternative for many companies to continue working, such as  eleworking. The purpose of this research is to describe how the worst of the SARSCoV-2 pandemic forced us to look for other ways to carry out a dependent activity, gaining an important momentum from this type of work, as well as to identify its legal implications in Venezuela. as an employment opportunity. From
the methodological point of view, it is a legal investigation, under the qualitative paradigm, based on a documentary review directly and indirectly related to the field of teleworking and labor law, with a view to knowing the impact of its inclusion in the country. Due to the absence of a legal support that regulates this matter. Teleworking is not only an unknown dimension of what today could be a source of employment, but we are also practically in the first steps of this new modality of work organization in the country. It is concluded that legal regulation is necessary for the implementation of teleworking in Venezuela as a  way of providing services, evidencing that practice prevails over the norm, perhaps due to its need for change and innovation.
