Los Sistemas de Armas Letales Autónomos

Resumen

En esta investigación se busca especular razonablemente sobre las posibilidades de la Inteligencia Artificial en la toma de decisiones para el uso de sistemas de armas letales autónomos, tratando de mantener una línea alejada del distopismo y ludismo predominante en las publicaciones sobre el tema como del utopismo ingenuo. Se analizará primeramente la toma decisiones administrativas por, o con auxilio de, un algoritmo y luego se aplicará la teoría a los SAAL. Se concluye que los sistemas de armas letales autónomas han sido utilizados por siglos. La IA perfecciona estos sistemas permitiendo reducir el daño indiscriminado causado por los sistemas no inteligentes.
