Desde esta perspectiva, se presenta este artículo donde se analizó la participación ciudadana y la gestión administrativa en los Consejos Comunales tomando como referencia a los concentrados en el municipio Cabimas. Para lograr este propósito, las bases teóricas fueron soportadas por Caldas y col. (2017), Rodríguez (2010), Ayala (2006), Cartaya (1994), entre otros. Apoyada en una investigación descriptiva-correlacional, con un diseño no experimental, de campo, transeccional. La población objeto de estudio, estuvo conformada por 60 voceros(as) de los Consejos Comunales del municipio Cabimas a quienes se les aplicó dos cuestionarios con cinco alternativas de respuesta compuesto por seis (6) ítems para la variable participación ciudadana y para la de gestión administrativa doce (12) ítems, se utilizó el juicio de expertos para la validez del mismo y el coeficiente Alfa Cronbach para la confiabilidad, obteniéndose 0,92 y 0,98 respectivamente. Se aplicó el coeficiente estadístico correlación de Pearson para determinar el nivel de correlación. Se concluye que la participación ciudadana como una relación socio–estatal permite a los consejos comunales, a través de la gestión administrativa mediante los procesos de planificación, organización, dirección y control, la integración de las personas hacia el logro de las metas y objetivos, y por ende, la satisfacción de las necesidades de la comunidad.</p><p><strong>Abstract </strong></p><p>In Venezuela, citizen participation and administrative management is presented as a novel phenomenon that introduces criteria of effectiveness and efficiency of public policies, highlighting the important role of citizens, community organizations and community councils in seeking to meet social demands . From this perspective, this article is presented where citizen participation and administrative management were analyzed in the Communal Councils, taking as reference the concentrates in the Cabimas municipality. To achieve this purpose, the theoretical bases were supported by Caldas et al. (2017), Rodríguez (2010), Ayala (2006), Cartaya (1994), among others. Supported by a descriptive-correlational investigation, with a non-experimental, field, transectional design. The population under study was made up of 60 spokespersons from the Communal Councils of the Cabimas municipality, who were given two questionnaires with five response alternatives composed of six (6) items for the citizen participation variable and for the management twelve (12) items, the expert judgment was used for the validity of the same and the Alfa Cronbach coefficient for reliability, obtaining 0.92 and 0.98 respectively. The Pearson correlation statistical coefficient was applied to determine the level of correlation. It is concluded that citizen participation as a sociostate relationship allows the communal councils, through administrative management through the processes of planning, organization, direction and control, the integration of people towards the achievement of goals and objectives, and therefore, the satisfaction of the needs of the community.</p&gt;}, number={1}, journal={DataCiencia}, author={Alvarado, Pedro}, year={2020}, month={jul.}, pages={133-142} }
